Superman
With a capital "J" yeah that stands for his name
He's got super strength and super speed
Perfect hair and perfect teeth
And an army of sidekicks that stand at his feet
He's the change, he's the go. He's the in between the moment
He's the seize he's the day. He'd save me anyway he could
I saw him today, decked in spandex and cape
With a grin o n his face like he just saved the day
He saved me he saved you, with war scars there are two
Where's his anthems and autographs and medals and movies
He's the change, he's the go. He's the in between the moment
He's the seize he's the day. He'd save me anyway he could
The invisible man. With a capital "J" and nobody bothers to know
The invisible man. With a capital "J" and nobody, nobody
Nobody bothers to know, this Superman's name

If I Fall
What if they’re right?
What if it’s just another way
To lose my sight
What if there’s still more?
What if there’s days and months and weeks left
To explore
To search hard chore, for evidence
Of The Fall
CHORUS
And if I fail, I’m gonna fail big
And if I fall, I’m gonna fall for it all
And never look back
Never see what could’ve been
I’ll give it all
I’ll risk this fall
What if they try
To say He never lived
And never died
What if this whole war
Becomes something I’m expected to ignore
To never fight
To never try
CHORUS
So if I fail, I’m gonna fail big
And if I fall, I’m gonna fall for it all
And never look back
Never see what could’ve been
Never hold to what I’ve lost
I’ll give it all
I’ll risk this fall
So if I fail, I’m gonna fail big
And if I fall, I’m gonna fall for it all
Never look back
Never say the race is lost
I’ll give it all
I’ll risk this fall
Oasis
Isaiah 41:17-20
17 When my peopl in their need look for water, when their throats are dry with thirst, then I, the Lord, will answer their prayer; I, the God of Israel, will never abandon them.
18 I will make rivers flow among barren hills and springs of water run in the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water and the dry land into flowing springs.
19 I will make cedars grow in the desert, and acacias and myrtles and olive trees. Forests will grow in barren land, forests of pine and juniper and cypress.
20 People will see this and know that I, the Lord, have done it. They will come to understand that Israel's holy God has made it happen.John 7:37-38
..."Whoever is thirsty should come to me, and whoever believes in me should drink. As the scripture says, 'Streams of life-giving water will pour out from his side.'"And of courses, the woman at the well. John 4:5-42
God uses water a lot in his word. Which is why I see His love as an Oasis. Something so vivid and strong. Love so pure that it becomes tangible. Like a kiss or butterfly feelings in your tummy. His living water is my oasis in this desert land we call home.
I’ve been walkin this road
So far
I got nowhere to go
So far
I miss home
Oh I miss home
Oh I’m lost
Lost to myself
Not lost without help
Not lost without help
Your love is like oow—aahh plant me a kiss
Let me win favor and grant me a wish
Fill me with moments that drown me in bliss
Your love is a flavor I cannot resist
So I’ll drink of this water (2x)
Oooow ehh yeah yeh eehh
I don’t know where I am
So far
I’m in another land
So far
From home
From my home
Oh I’m lost
Lost to myself
Not lost without help
Not lost without help
Your love is like oow—aahh plant me a kiss
Let me win favor and grant me a wish
Fill me with moments that drown me in bliss
Your love is a flavor I cannot resist
So I’ll drink of this water
Oooow ehh yeah yeh eehh
That day you met me at the well
You told me of this love I’d found
In you, in you
Sensations I have never known
My drought inside has over flown
With you, with you
And I drink, of this water
Oooow ehh yeah yeh eehh
Silent Adventure
Silent adventure I fall on my knees
Casting my crown at your feet
Faith is a wonder that fate can’t defeat
The heathen in me finds belief
Blood signs my name when I fall on my knees
Silent my heart pleads to scream
CHORUS
You are the Creator you are my God and my King
You are the Creator open my eyes to belief (2x)
Open my eyes
Silent adventure I fall on my knees
Guide me through pastures of peace
Your grace and mercy have lead me to weep
Where my bruised knees find relief
Blood signs my name when I fall on my knees
Silent my heart pleads to scream
BRIDGE
You saved me by your rod you comfort me
You rescued me from the power of my enemies
(back to chorus)
Clay
But I am still clay
If I could but touch His robe
A handful of Hem
If I could cross this water
Oh help me
Turn this seed
Into mountain
But I’m still clay
But I’m still clay
Oh bring me to your table
Respond to my reaching arm
Be the brave in my beating heart
And untangle what lies there in
Oh Lord I know
That I’m still clay
Sunday Shoes
While at home I decided that I did know something about my life and what I wanted. And that one thing was that above anything else in my life I wanted to be with Christ. I want to walk with him through the thick and thin through the poop and the roses alike. And that is exactly where this song stems from. Just the idea that I can go for a walk with Jesus through this adventure of a life and be OK.
I woke up this morning,
My father said take, a walk with me.
I’ve got things I want to show you about politics and hypocrites
Terrorists and the wrong culprits.
And yes, I need your hands, I need your feet
I said
I will walk with you in Sunday shoes
I will walk with you when skies aren’t blue
I will listen to your stories of how to save this world
I’ll do my best spread the news
Will you teach me something new today
Will you show me something remarkable in every way
You can take me farther than I have ever gone before
You will guide me through every open door
Jesus,
I will walk with you in Sunday shoes
I will walk with you when skies aren’t blue
I will listen to your stories of little girls and boys
I’ll do my best to spread the news
I will walk with you in Central Park we’ll drink a sip of coffee
I will walk with you till my shoes wear down and my socks poke out
I will walk with you through dangers and deserts and plains storms
and everywhere you walk with me we’ll and talk
I will walk with you in Sunday shoes
I will walk with you when skies aren’t blue
I will listen to your stories of how to save this world
I’ll do my best spread the news
